A Cheap Alternative to Personal Training

I get it.

You’d like to try Personal Training, but £50 a session may not be within your budget.

I’d love to be able to offer cut-price sessions, but as a studio owner I need to pay the bills, and be mindful that I don’t overwork myself (in the old days I used to work up to 12 hours a day in the studio).

So this is why I wrote and published my book Get Fit and Enjoy It: Learn Effective Exercise Without a Gym.

For only £7.99 (with free UK postage included), you can learn what we do in the studio. Get Fit and Enjoy It takes you step-by-step through how to get fit the Griffen way.

This is the book I’ve been wanting to write since I started Personal Training over seventeen years ago. Lockdown taught us that it’s important to get fit without lots of fancy equipment. We all have it in our bodies to be fit and healthy, and this is especially important during these times.

I see a lot of information out there that’s either misleading, or pitched to expert exercisers. Most of us aren’t elite athletes and this book is aimed at reluctant or lapsed exercisers. If you’ve ever wanted to get fit from home, but don’t know where to start, this is the perfect book for you.

Many of us are anxious about exercise, and I really wanted to present a simple step-by-step method – it’s the same method that I’ve perfected over the years in the Griffen Fitness studio. To make it accessible I have kept the pricing as low as possible, £7.99 with FREE UK delivery.

I would love to help you on your own personal fitness journey, and reading this book could be the boost you need! It also makes an excellent stocking stuffer for the ‘reluctant’ exerciser in your life.

Available from our online shop, or IRL at Argonaut Books, Elvis Shakespeare and Logan + Malloch (all Leith Walk, Edinburgh)

A Review:

Easy to follow and gently motivating. Tracy's book means that even when it is blowing a gale or peeing it down outside, you have credible options for physical activity within your own home. Clear explanations and good pictures make the activities easy to adopt. For me the strength activities are the bonus as these are what I find boring. Managing to break them up into small chunks whilst at home (especially in lockdown) makes them much more achievable. And you get to support a local business. Plus if you like what you read you could top up with some sessions from Tracy herself (which I benefitted from years ago). What is not to love. Thoroughly recommend.” - Trevor R, January 2022
