Reluctant exerciser?

We can help!

Griffen Fitness studio mirrors

The Griffen Fitness studio is truly private, and it’s all yours.

With over sixteen years of experience under her belt, Personal Trainer Tracy bought her own studio in Leith and designed it to feel like your own living room. Lots of plants and fresh air. No treadmills or machines to be seen!

You will learn how to effectively exercise anywhere, anytime, using your own body weight and simple equipment. Easy to learn, and the more you enjoy exercise, the more likely you are to do it from home and see excellent results, guaranteed.

Learn how to use fitness equipment properly.

We are very pernickety about exercise form and safety. It is hugely important that everything you learn in the studio can be done safely and effectively from home or on the move. We teach everything from weights (dumbbells from 1kg to 12.5kg), to Swiss ball, hula hooping, skipping, rebounder, TRX, boxing, circuits, balance, resistance bands and tubes to name a few workouts. Strength is a speciality.

As the Scotsman newspaper says, “Tracy is encyclopedic when it comes to fitness.” This means your workouts have been thoroughly tested and researched to be the best use of your time. You’ll also receive your workout emailed to you, with support in between sessions too.

Injury is a major barrier to getting fit, so we avoid ‘controversial’ exercises in our studio. The best bit? No burpees!

Fitness is a family affair.

Working out should be convenient for you, so we welcome your furry companion or mini me. As all sessions are individual (or couples), there is plenty of space for you to make yourself at home. If you have childcare needs, or a doggie that loves to be with you, please do bring them along! Healthy dog treats and water bowl provided, and we even have some toys for little humans to entertain themselves.

Griffen Fitness also offers ‘rate with a mate’ if you’d like to get fit with your beloved.

All ages and abilities welcome.

With a client portfolio ranging from busy mums, to active seniors to those with different abilities, PT Tracy has the experience and knowhow to help you. Not an athlete? You don’t need to be to get fit at Griffen Fitness.

As we get older, our fitness requirements change, and so will your fitness programme. We have clients in their 80’s who wish to be able to keep moving and stay upright. Getting up and down from the floor is something we might not think about when we’re young, but this is an important aspect of everyday functional fitness. Quality of life is important, and balance training should be a part of all exercise programmes.

Listening to YOUR needs helps PT Tracy build you a personalised programme that will get you the results you’re looking for.
