This book is a godsend. Because of Covid I’ve not been able to go to my usual classes. I was feeling a bit unfit but not sure what to do about it. Then I read Get Fit and Enjoy It. It is exactly what I needed. I like Tracy Griffen’s approach, it is accessible and engaging without being patronising. She offers clear and easy-to-follow instructions ( with photos) for exercises which can all be done in your own home. She is by profession a personal trainer with 15 years of experience behind her, so she knows her stuff. At first I was worried that a not-particularly-fit person like myself wouldn’t be able to do the exercises. But I managed fine – at the easy level, of course, but it’s early days! I’m so pleased. I’ve set myself some simple goals and a doable fitness routine and I’m really looking forward to getting fit!
